Security
DashProphet is built and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This page describes, at a high level, how we handle security and data protection. It’s a summary, not a compliance attestation — see below.
Infrastructure
DashProphet runs on AWS infrastructure. Dashboards are delivered through AWS QuickSight and powered by SPICE, the same in-memory engine behind QuickSight, which stores and serves your data within AWS’s environment.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using standard AWS-managed encryption mechanisms, consistent with AWS’s own security practices for the services we build on.
Access control
Access to your dashboards and data is controlled on a per-client basis. Within your workspace, people are assigned author or reader roles: authors can build and edit dashboards, while readers can view and filter published dashboards without altering the underlying data or analysis.
Use of your data
Your data is used only to deliver the DashProphet service to you — to build, host, and maintain your dashboards. We do not use client data for any other purpose. When your engagement ends, your data is removed according to the terms of your client agreement.
Vendors
Beyond AWS, we use a small number of vendors to run this site and the business behind it — HubSpot as our CRM for demo requests, and Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery. Each is scoped to the role it plays and none receive access to your dashboard data.
What we don’t claim
We do not hold formal compliance certifications (such as SOC 2) at this time, and we don’t claim otherwise. If your organization requires a specific compliance attestation, contact us before signing so we can discuss your requirements directly.
Reporting a concern
If you believe you’ve found a security issue affecting this site or the DashProphet platform, please report it through the channels below rather than disclosing it publicly, so we can investigate and respond.
